I’m Mike Cirrotti. I write Register Fluency as practice: taking ideas from AI and data and explaining them plainly, one at a time, for people who want to keep up without becoming engineers or data scientists.

I’m not an engineer or data scientist either. After about ten years in data analytics, and in more recent years working on agentic AI, most of what I know about AI tools comes from using them firsthand, at work and on side projects. I think that’s a useful place to write from: close enough to the tools to see how they work, but not so deep in the code that I’ve forgotten what’s confusing.
